Identification Requirements (ID) for the exam:

All IDs must be physical, non-expired, valid, original, government issued with a recent and recognizable photo. Digital IDs will not be accepted.

First and last name on the ID must match with your registration name for the exam.
Note:
If the names do not match, log into redhat.com click on “Account Details”and make sure the name is the same as the ID. Then log into the scheduler and confirm your name there. Please make sure this is done at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled exam start time.

A valid passport is preferable (if available). Other accepted forms of identification include a driver’s license or a state identification card. Candidates from India can provide an original Passport, PAN card, Driver license and aadhar card. All other forms of ID such as letter/paper forms/ laminated/ downloaded/ digital/electronic formats or photocopies are not accepted.

Candidates are prohibited from taking any Red Hat exams from a country under embargo by the United States. Only candidates who present approved identification showing a non-embargoed country of residence may test and receive certifications.
Please arrive on Time:
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time to ensure that the initial onboarding process begins on schedule. Exams cannot begin early, as the exam environment is being provisioned prior to the exam. We are limited in being able to begin exams late. Other exams might be scheduled after yours or a late start might conflict with facility hours.
No-Show Policy:
If you do not appear for your exam on time or at all, you will lose your eligibility to reschedule the exam.
How to cancel or reschedule a scheduled exam:
If you need to cancel or reschedule your scheduled exam, you may do so yourself by signing in to your account here. Red Hat Individual Exam purchases are final and cannot be canceled.

Scheduled exam times must be canceled or rescheduled 24 hours or more before the designated start time. Exams that are canceled less than 24 hours in advance will be considered delivered and you will lose your eligibility to schedule the exam again.
Additional guidelines:
In order to ensure that candidates do not have access to unauthorized materials or assistance during exams through the use of smart devices, we ask that all candidates remove watches, jewelry (other than wedding bands and engagement rings) and other personal items before appearing for their exam. If you appear for your exam wearing these items you will be asked to remove and stow them. Refusing to do so will be deemed a no-show.

Red Hat allows unscheduled breaks during the delivery of your exam but the timed exam session will continue to run and the time spent on break is considered part of the allocated test time. Please make sure to inform the online proctor that you need a break before getting up from the testing station.
